In 2010, Corrie launched a unique formula translating 9 amazing colours into cheerful art.
The vibrant artworks, spreading joy, happiness, and positive energy, are reflected in every brushstroke.
Now, 13 years later, Vrolijk Schilderij is a well-known concept in the Netherlands and beyond.
Whether one is looking for a touch of cheerfulness at home, in the office, or another environment, Corrie's paintings can be found everywhere. With a variety of subjects including plump ladies, happy cows, crazy chickens, or an Amsterdam street scene, all imbued with Corrie Leushuis' distinctive style.
After many years full of creativity, inspiration, and sharing her talent with the world, the beloved artist has decided to retire. Corrie has had a remarkable career, enchanting people with her unique vision and creative expression.
What's next?
After a wonderful career full of colour and creativity, Corrie Leushuis has decided to stop painting. But the joyful world of her art lives on in a new form: as a relaxing and accessible hobby for everyone.
The recognisable style of Vrolijk Schilderij is now available as diamond painting, paint by number, and dot painting (in collaboration with Oh My Dotz). This way, you can get started at home with the cheerful ladies, colourful cows, and vibrant street scenes – at your own pace and in your own way.
