During this time she lived for extended periods in places including Portugal and Spain. In 2000 she had a serious car accident, which led to years of medical treatment. During this period she discovered art, mainly painting and photography. For a few years now she has been traveling the world a lot again. New ideas for paintings often arise there, which are captured on the spot in sketches. "
