Here's how to order your own photo:
Step 1: Choose the desired size and the number of colors you want your photo printed in.
Note 1: The size of the photo is crucial. If you choose a larger size and a wider range of colors, this results in more detail and clarity in your paint-by-numbers artwork.
Important note 2: Black-and-white photos can be made with a maximum of 24 colors.
Step 2: Click "Choose file". Here you can upload your photo from your computer or mobile phone.
Step 3: Click "Add to cart" and then go to checkout to fill in your address details. After payment, we'll start production of your own photo painting right away!
How do I choose the right size?
Please don't upload square photos if you've ordered a portrait size. If we receive a photo in the wrong format, we may need to crop it to fit the painting. Parts of the photo may then be lost.
Make sure you have a high-quality photo. Always upload the largest possible image for the best result. If the image is of poor quality, the painting may turn out blurry.
Be careful with shadows and sunlight in the photo, as these can affect the colors of your paint-by-numbers set.
Custom photos cannot be returned.

With Paint by Numbers Your Own Photo, you bring your favorite painting to life. Instead of painting an existing image, you can upload your own personal photo, which we then turn into a DIY Paint by Numbers painting.
How Paint by Numbers Your Own Photo works
- Choose a photo: For a high-quality canvas print, choose an image with at least 1000 pixels per side.
- Upload photo: Use the „Upload photo" button above to add your favorite photo. Click „Choose file" to do so.
- Place your order: After you've uploaded the photo, your file name appears next to „Choose file". Now you can add your own photo to the cart and complete the order. Done :-)
Note: If you have any problems uploading, you can simply place the order and send your photo to kontakt@diy-malennachzahlen.de. Don't forget to mention your order number. Please also note that we cannot print text as a photo.
