Paint by numbers motifs by Guido Borelli
The artist Guido Borelli da Caluso was born in 1952 in Caluso, Italy, at the foot of the Italian Alps. Born into an artistic family, young Guido discovered painting at around the age of 4 to 6. Guido's first artistic challenge came at the age of 13 in the form of a public competition. Although he did not win this art prize, he continued his artistic development and had his first solo art exhibition at the age of 17.
Guido exhibits worldwide, including in Uruguay, the Netherlands, Egypt, Great Britain, Malta, Norway, Germany, the United States, Spain, Russia, Bulgaria, France, Poland, Costa Rica, Kenya and Ethiopia. In addition to these changing exhibitions, he has a permanent exhibition at Gallery 1000 in Carmel by the Sea, CA, and at AlexArtInternational in Sarasota, FL.
Guido is a true nature lover and a lover of gentle things. His landscapes and houses combine reality and fantasy.
Guido's painting style was influenced by the Italian realist style that began in the 1900s, in particular by the artists Boldini and De Nittis. Inspired by the movement of shadows, his oil paintings reflect nature, showing Italian landscapes, houses and villas in Northern Italy and the Alps as focal points. Today his work is highly valued and has found collectors worldwide.
